Welcome, my friend! I am a Lead Automation QA with over 7 years of commercial experience in the field. I’m skilled in UI, API, and performance testing using both, Java and TypeScript stacks. During my career, I’ve launched QA processes in general—and automation specifically—from scratch. I’ve also enhanced existing processes, refactored automation frameworks, stabilized flaky test executions, led and mentored a team of automation QAs. I worked with Taras in a mentorship session that was initially planned for one hour, with a clear focus on evaluating my hard skills. However, the session turned out to be so productive and in-depth that we extended it to two hours. Taras asked strong, well-thought-out questions that genuinely tested deep understanding rather than surface-level knowledge. During the session, he highlighted several important gaps and areas for improvement and provided clear guidance on how to work on them. I especially appreciated his ability to explain complex topics in a structured and clear way, with practical examples. At the end of the session, Taras summarized everything very well and shared valuable insights on how to present your experience and skills effectively and what to avoid, which is extremely helpful for interviews. Overall, I had a very positive experience. I’m very satisfied with this mentorship and would definitely recommend Taras as a knowledgeable and insightful mentor.
